    Ryan and Chloe meet when she moves in across the street from the house he shares with one of his teammates. Chloe is very skittish and Ryan realizes pretty quickly that she is hiding something. Chloe is on the run from an abusive ex, and she isn’t sure she wants any man in her life. When she begins to receive threats Ryan is there to help, and they establish a friendship that quickly begins to change into something more. Will they find and neutralize the threat before Chloe runs again? Is this her ex back to drag her home or some new danger? This is another good read involving the men and women of HOT.

    I've never had a man, let alone a seal, answer the door completely naked, but I sure would like to experience that. Chloe is one lucky girl. Then Dirty becomes her personal protector. Again lucky girl. Well, maybe not since her ex wants to do her bodily harm, or even death. And let's not forget about the leering moving guy who has it out for her. Poor girl just moved to the neighborhood and can't even stay in her own house safely. Enter HOT Seals. Dirty has made her one of them so they all protect her. And when she goes missing, enter Ian Black. It's an off the books rescue needing Black's expertise. The relationship has moved faster than either of them are prepared for. Each has their own issues and hot buttons. Will they be able to conquer their own demons to be together? And what will happen to Neo if Dirty and Chloe end up together?

    Another great story in the HOT books. I loved Ryan and Chloe. There was just the right amount of suspense, and just the right amount of sexy. When I got to what seemed to be the culminating part, it felt like there should have been more to it. And there was, so I was not disappointed. There was also some things that came up that can happen to any couple, so that added to the story because life isn't all roses. Of course there was a little at the end about the next story, and it just leaves you wanting more of the HOT Seals. All in all, a good read.

    Love Ryan and Chloe’s story. Chloe is on the run from an abusive ex-boyfriend and moves in right to a handsome protective SEAL. Their first meeting was a little funny and they became friends but both secretly lusting over each other. But when Ryan “Dirty Harry” Callahan finds out that Chloe is on the run from an abusive ex his protective instinct kicks in and he’ll do everything to keep her safe. This wasn’t a love at first sight, but it was perfect for them. Loved the secondary characters and also loved the brotherhood between the SEALs. Lots of suspense and hot romance, this was my first book by Lynn Rae Harris and it definitely won’t be my last. I loved the teaser we got from Neo and Kayla’s book. Can’t wait.     What a double whammy of suspense in this book!! After receiving some news that rocks his world, Ryan goes on a bender, only to be woken up out of his hangover state by his new neighbor asking to move his truck so she can move into her place. Chloe has been running from her past, and finally feeling safe enough after months of moving around, to put roots down. Keeping as low a profile as possible, she tries to ensure to not rock the boat and live life essentially with her head down. With the chemistry and attraction through the roof with these two, Ryan continues to pursue her, especially after calling her bluff on why she’s really in town. As Chloe continues to share more about her past and why she’s running, Ryan vows to help her and protect her at all costs. What’s crazy and makes this book so much better is that there is a double dose of suspense in this book! When you think everything’s been resolved and Chloe and Ryan are able to build their relationship and life further, you’re hit with another surprise! I’ve always been a fan of Lynn Raye Harris and these different yet similar series surrounding the armed forces, and this book is added to the list. Can’t wait to get Neo’s story next! I voluntarily read and reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
