  • Wow! Dark, edge of your seat, addictive series

    Debra Webb is one of those authors who always delivers a suspenseful thriller. Her books are very addicting and hard to put down. A Deeper Grave has Detective Bobbie Gentry finding hope again, to have a life, if not a normal life. She is Nick Shades weakness and he returns to Montgomery and Bobbie when she is faced with copycat murderer who is trying to get his attention. The fact that she has gained Nicks attention intrigues Nicks serial killer father. In this series, I have a sense of a buildup of a powerful finale. A well plotted story, fantastic lead characters as well as a variety of secondary characters tie it all together. The first 2 books in this series are The Blackest Crimson (prequel) and No Darker Place (book 1). This is a series that should be read in order

  • Edge of your seat, spine tingling, breathtakingly good!

    Talk about breath taking....how about edge of your seat....spine tingling...there are really not enough words to describe this book or this series...it will truly blow you away! Nick Shade and Detective Bobbie Gentry are reunited as Nick is lured back to Montgomery to help Bobbie stop a copycat killer that is painting death around the city in images that can only be found in the darkest of nightmares. But there is more going on here than meets the eye and Bobbie is determined to keep Nick from being the final target! This book is so well written with suspense building as you turn each page and characters that come alive with each clock ticking minute! This book makes me want to shout from the rooftops about how good it is. If you like a thriller then you really have to read this book....and this series! Mind blowing good!

    The latest Debra Webb novel, A Deeper Grave, is not for the faint of heart. The suspense builds from the last novel and continues to grow and almost borders on horror. Webb clearly has an endgame with this series and it isn’t going to be easy getting there. Webb shows no mercy for established and new characters alike; this has been a hallmark of this series so far. I’m definitely hooked and can’t wait to see where the next book takes us. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this novel.
