    Barbara ‘s books never disappoint, a story of heartache and healing with a new love, is what this story is about. Dani has two months to change Conner’s mind, and let her stay. A story that tugs at your heart, and you hope that they won’t let the past keep them from love. Given ARC for my voluntary review and my honest opinion.

    Sweet Meant To Be by Barbara McMahon. This is Dani Winthrop and Connor Norris' story. Dani ends up working for Connor and his partner. Connor isn't too happy about her working on a construction site. He hasn't been able to move on. Dani needs this job but also needs a fresh start. She has a short time to convince Connor that she is the right person for the job. Connor is still healing from a tragedy in his life. Dani and Connor are drawn to one another but they both have so much baggage that taking a chance on a relationship may be too much for them. Will these two be able to help each other heal and find true love? This is a sweet and heartwarming story. I loved Dani and Connor's characters and the supporting characters. I love how the author creates a sweet, emotional, and believable story. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

    Barbara McMahon has become one of my favorite authors and she didn’t disappoint me with Sweet Meant To Be. Dani is pregnant and single. Connor is still grieving for his deceased wife and son. As soon as she arrives for the job Mick hired her for, Connor says get rid of her. She gets him to agree to a trial period because she really needs this job and the money it pays. I’m not going to give any spoilers, but I will say if you love an emotional read with believable characters, then you need to read this book
